The Neuromuscular Disorders Clinic at the University of Arizona focuses on an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. As a teaching institution, the facility offers the patient leading technology in diagnosis and treatment. A strong emphasis is placed on patient education in dealing with his/her illness. Staff and faculty are very involved in ALS reasearch and treatment options for the ALS patient, keeping patients and families informed of all options for care.

Diagnostic Markers in ALS: using magnetic resonance spectroscopy as an objective measure of neuronal dysfunction.
